Stanley stays with Mystics as assistant coach
WASHINGTON (AP) -Marianne Stanley is returning to the Washington Mystics as an assistant coach next season.
The team announced Friday that it's keeping Stanley.
She was an assistant last season and was previously the head coach of the Mystics in 2002 - when she was WNBA coach of the year - and 2003.
Stanley is a member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
