Fenerbahce to sue lab for Taurasi doping report

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - Fenerbahce says it will take legal action against a Turkish doping lab which reported an apparent “false positive” for American basketball player Diana Taurasi.

Sekip Mosturoglu, a member of Fenerbahce's executive board, has also called for lab officials and some basketball federation officials to resign. He has demanded an apology and compensation for both Taurasi and the team.

Mosturoglu says “this is the greatest scandal in world sports.”

He says Taurasi's absence has put Fenerbahce's chances to win the Euroleague at “risk.”
