Blackhawks sign Potulny to 1-year deal
CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Blackhawks signed free-agent center Ryan Potulny to a one-year contract Thursday.
The 26-year-old Potulny had 15 goals and 17 assists in 64 regular-season games last season for Edmonton. He also had three goals and five assists in 14 games for Springfield in the American Hockey League.
The former University of Minnesota star has 22 goals and 27 assists in 116 career NHL games in parts of five seasons with Philadelphia and Edmonton.
