Last chance for some big names in the NFL
Running backs LaDainian Tomlinson and Larry Johnson. Wideouts Terrell Owens and Joey Galloway. QBs Jake Delhomme and Matt Hasselbeck.
All of them are among the dozens of players who are on the spot this season. They have to show they can still do their jobs or make room for somebody else.
Owens says he's confident about what he can do on the field, even at age 36. The Bengals were confident enough to sign him as a deep threat.
Jets coach Rex Ryan says that if Tomlinson is “coming down, he's coming down from the very top of the mountain.”
Still, it could be the last season for some big names if they don't produce.
