Rockets re-sign F Harris
HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Rockets have signed forward Mike Harris to a 10-day contract.
The 6-foot-6 Harris most recently played in China for the Shanghai Sharks, the team owned by Yao Ming. Harris began the season in Rockets' training camp before he was waived on Oct. 18.
Harris has played in 30 NBA games with the Rockets and Washington Wizards, and averaged three points and 2.6 rebounds. He was named the most valuable player of the developmental league in 2009-10 after averaging 27.1 points and 10.5 rebounds and helping Rio Grande Valley win the D-League championship.
The Rockets play Golden State on Wednesday night.
