Cavaliers G Baron Davis returns against Pistons
CLEVELAND (AP) - Cavaliers guard Baron Davis, who missed the last three games because of back spasms, will play against the Detroit Pistons.
Cleveland coach Byron Scott said Davis will come off the bench and play 20 to 25 minutes on Friday night.
Davis, acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers in a Feb. 24 trade, is averaging 14.3 points in four games for the Cavaliers. Scott wants to work Davis into the starting lineup at some point, which could happen Sunday against Atlanta.
Prior to his back injury, Davis missed time with a sore left knee and following the death of his grandmother.
