Robby Gordon back in Montreal to make amends

MONTREAL (AP) - Robby Gordon is back at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for NASCAR's Nationwide race and still maintains he won the inaugural event three years ago.

His run-in with Marcos Ambrose made the 2007 race in Montreal one that will long be remembered. Gordon ignored a black flag after spinning Ambrose late and was the first car across the finish line. NASCAR disqualified him and Kevin Harvick was declared the winner.

Gordon has the race banner hanging in his shop and says he's back for redemption.

The past two races here were plagued by rain, but sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s are predicted for Sunday.

The good weather and a strong contingent of road racing aces, including former Formula One champ Jacques Villeneuve, should make for a wide-open race.
