Brian Keselowski out after gall bladder surgery
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Brian Keselowski is not at Bristol Motor Speedway because he had emergency surgery to remove his gall bladder.
A team spokeswoman says Keselowski had the surgery Thursday and is expected to be released from the hospital Friday.
Dennis Setzer will replace Keselowski in the No. 92 Dodge on Friday at Bristol. Keselowski will not be able to drive next week at California.
Keselowski owns his own Sprint Cup Series team. He qualified for the season-opening Daytona 500, but failed to make the races at Phoenix and Las Vegas.
He is the older brother of NASCAR star Brad Keselowski.
