Dunn goes deep for White Sox
GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Adam Dunn homered and drove in three runs Friday night and the Chicago White Sox beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-3.
Dunn hit a two-run shot in the first inning and doubled in another run in the third. Brent Lillibridge and Carlos Quentin also homered for the White Sox.
Gavin Floyd allowed three runs over seven innings, the longest outing by a White Sox starter this spring. He struck out three, giving up eight hits and a walk.
Barry Enright worked 5 1-3 for Arizona, yielding six runs on nine hits. He had already secured a spot in the Diamondbacks starting rotation with a 2.45 Cactus League ERA heading into the game.
David Winfree had two hits and an RBI for Arizona.
