Castroneves sorry for Edmonton tirade
Helio Castroneves has apologized for his tirade following a weekend IndyCar race in Edmonton.
Castroneves crossed the finish line first at Sunday's race, but was penalized for blocking teammate Will Power on the final restart, giving the victory to Scott Dixon.
After being bumped down to 10th, Castroneves stormed out of his car and screamed at IndyCar officials, grabbing one by the shirt collar. The Brazilian driver posted an apology on his website on Monday, saying he still disagreed with the decision, but there was no excuse for his actions after the checkered flag.
IndyCar Series officials are reviewing the incident to determine if Castroneves should be penalized.
