Beatriz to drive No. 24 in Homestead
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Ana Beatriz will drive the No. 24 car for Dreyer&Reinbold Racing in the IndyCar season finale at Homestead next weekend.
The race will be Beatriz's fourth start of the season. The 25-year-old Brazilian finished 13th in the season-opener in Sao Paulo. She also ran 21st in the Indy 500 and 24th at Chicago last month.
The regular driver of the No. 24 car, Mike Conway, will also make an appearance at Homestead. It will mark Conway's first visit to a track since sustaining leg and back injuries after colliding with Ryan Hunter-Reay with one lap to go in the Indy 500.
Conway has spent the last three months recovering in England and expects to be fully recovered in time for the 2011 IndyCar season.
