Presvis wins $5 million Dubai Duty Free
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - Presvis has won the $5 million Dubai Duty Free, coming from the back of the pack to edge River Jetez and Wigmore Hall.
Presvis was ridden by three-time British champion jockey Ryan Moore on Saturday and won by three-quarters of a length. This is the sixth of eight races on a card that culminates with the $10 million World Cup.
Beauty Flash of Hong Kong took the early lead, with StrawberryDaiquiri of Qatar in front of a packed field at the bend. River Jetez then pushed ahead with 300 yards to go before Presvis burst through the middle.
River Jetez, trained by Mike de Kock, was second followed by Wigmore Hall.
