Mucho Macho Man moves up AP's Derby Top 10 list
Mucho Macho Man is moving up the Top 10 list of Kentucky Derby contenders thanks to a victory in the Risen Star Stakes.
The 3-year-old colt improves three places to No. 4 in the AP's latest Run to the Roses Top 10 Derby contenders. Mucho Macho Man defeated Santiva by 1 1/2 lengths in Saturday's Risen Star at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans.
The top three horses remain the same, with unbeaten Uncle Mo at No. 1, followed by To Honor And Serve and Brethren.
Uncle Mo's next start is set for March 12, with To Honor And Serve scheduled to run in Saturday's Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream Park in Florida.
The Factor moves up three spots to No. 7 following his victory in Sunday's 7-furlong San Vicente at Santa Anita.
