Inherit the Gold wins Big A's Kings Point
NEW YORK (AP) - Inherit the Gold extended his winning streak to four with a two-length victory over Yawanna Twist, the 4-5 favorite, in the $63,700 Kings Point Stakes at Aqueduct.
A gray 5-year-old trained by James Hooper, Inherit the Gold improved to 6 for 13. Eddie Castro was aboard as the gelding covered the 1 1-8 miles for New York breds in 1:50.99.
Inherit the Gold paid $5.40, $2.60 and $2.10. Yawanna Twist returned $2.30 and $2.10. Spa City Fever paid $2.90 to show.
