Eighttofasttocatch wins Big A feature
NEW YORK (AP) -Eighttofasttocatch led all the way Thursday, beating Into My Soul by three quarters of length in the $45,000 allowance feature on the turf at Aqueduct.
A 4-year-old gelding bred in Maryland, Eighttofasttocatch pulled off the 13-1 upset in his New York debut. Trained at Laurel by Timothy Keefe, Eighttofasttocatch ran the 1 1-16 miles on the firm course in 1:44.60 with Edgar Prado aboard. It was his third win in 14 races.
Eighttofasttocatch paid $29.60, $10 and $4.40. Into My Soul returned $4 and $2.60. Thou Swell, the 3-2 favorite, paid $2.10 to show.
