No. 25 Xavier on verge of 4th straight title
CINCINNATI (AP) -Jason Love keeps his strands of nylon net in a box of mementos. Xavier's senior center is hoping to add another one soon.
The 25th-ranked Musketeers will clinch their fourth straight Atlantic 10 regular-season title and cut down the nets again if they beat St. Bonaventure at the Cintas Center on Saturday afternoon. Massachusetts is the only other team in the league's history to win four in a row.
Xavier is tied for first with No. 20 Temple, which also plays at home against George Washington on Saturday. If both win, they would share the title.
Love is Xavier's only senior and will be honored before the Musketeers' final home game.
