Michigan guard Darius Morris is testing NBA waters
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - Michigan coach John Beilein says Darius Morris is asking the NBA's undergraduate advisory committee to project where the guard would be selected if he entered the draft.
Beilein made the announcement Monday during a news conference scheduled to wrap up the season.
Morris helped the Wolverines surpass expectations, helping them finish tied for fourth in the Big Ten. They beat Tennessee in the NCAA tournament and his runner in the lane was just short against Duke.
The 6-foot-4 Morris led Michigan last season with 15 points and 6.7 assists per game and averaged four rebounds.
