Butler wants to make most of 2nd chance at title

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Ronald Nored still remembers the phone call President Obama made to Butler last season.

The Bulldogs guard appreciated the sentiment but wants to hear a different message from the White House this year.

Hours after the Bulldogs earned a second straight Final Four trip by beating Florida, Nored told hundreds of Bulldogs fans he wants to get the “real call” this year - not the runner-up call.

That's the mission Butler takes into next weekend's national semifinal game against Virginia Commonwealth or Kansas.

The Bulldogs are the first Indiana team to reach back-to-back Final Fours but won't be satisfied with anything less than a national title.
